I dont' know what i should do!

I got my 04 rx-8 gt 6 speed about a month ago...and I don't really know any more. First of all, I know I was really dumb to not have researched everything first, so please keep the flames down. As a high school student, I never really thought about the whole 'gas' thing, I had NO idea that his car would drink so much. I barely drive the car anyways because it hurts to a lot much see the fuel meter go down. Besides that, most of the time I really like the attention I get from the car, but not always, my family isn't really that rich and I don't like to seem like a rich spoiled brat. I know, once again, that I am really stupid to have not thought of this before hand. I know I'm an impatient person, and choosing this car was an example of that. When I was choosing cars, I had the Impreza in mind as well, but as soon as I saw the ad for a black rx-8, I rushed out and we bought it, without even test driving the Impreza. stupid stupid stupid...i know, I'll save your guys' breath. The car is so awesome, but I really don't feel like I'm ready for such a car yet. Now that I in this position, I barely get to drive it, I'm always worrying when I'm driving it and I don't even feel like having a sports car anymore. My parents told me to choose wisely when we were looking at cars, and I was so confident this was the car I wanted, dumb dumb dumb. I feel so stupid. They love me like nothing else and want me to be happy, and I go and make stupid decisions. I talked to my dad once about trading the car and he told me I was crazy because we are going to be losing a lot of money. I've put at the most 5-600 miles on the car. At the moment, I really want to sell the car and look for something that is more suited for me. What do you guys think?

"no one on a forum can fix you issue.."
you have just enlightened me...I was on these forums looking for someone magical to help me "undo" everything...but now I know I can't do that...YES....THANK YOU!!!

"who paid for the car??? who is going to take a loss? is it you, no,, will it ever be you... no... you pay for gas??? insurance?"

well...i'm paying for insurance and the gas...and yea my parents paid for the car and they are going to take a loss...but me? O NO i dont' give a ****, ya no, thats kinda why i'm upset about this whole thing. Having so many posts, i thought you would know how to read...hmmm... :/

that was sarcasm by the way. ok so yea...i already said i was stupid and i know that.

I always thought that insecurities and the need to put others down to make yourself feel better was a high school thing...you prove me wrong.

i am not putting your parents down.. i think they and you fail...

you ?s are stupid.. and as i said you have buyers remorse.. do your homework before the buy, sorry you are in hi school? do u research anything??? somehow you figured out the gas was costing you money..

i have the answer to you ? get a hybrid... please now..

and research which one before you do it...

high school for me 66 mustang k.. paid for gas and insurance.. the car was stock for a month.. and yes i went up on a k.

you will have fun with this it is a google search car fun fact. the k is the hard thing to find.

How much, per week can gas possibly be???

Suck it up, as a soon to be adult, you are learning the joy of living with your decisions...the good news is that it MAY hopefully prevent you from making additional bad decisions. If $70 a week or so is killing you financially, garage the car and buy a bike. And yes, I am serious.
