Im am looking into to getting one, and I know I want a 6 speed, and also the two tone leather seats. All the other options I do not want on my car, because I will be doing my own mods. I have heard that this means I will have to have the grand touring pkg though. I know it all depends on the dealer, demand for the vehicle in my area, and my negotiation skills, but if you don't mind me asking I am just slightly curious to see some ball park figures from everyone else. Thanks.

Say if all you want is leather and 6spd--get a base 6spd model or 6spd sport package and have aftermarket two-tone leather put in--it'll be about $1200; the two tone steering wheel from Mazda is about $340. I have a Sport Package A/T that I plan on putting aftermarket leather in. Cost was the main factor--i got it for $24.9K w/ 6000miles on the odo. The cheapest 6spd I could have gotten was $2500 more. 6spd is more fun-but I'm not regrettin the auto-especially since I've had my share of speed from my 93 FD w/mods that I use to have--that would've eatin 6spd RX8s, 350zs, and G35s anyway.

I put in the MP3 player myself later, another $240.

 

It was around 42k-45k. No it was american dollars.

Yes I did. I bought it in October last year. I also bought my fiance the Mazda 6 and we are expecting a baby so I might be looking for someone to take over the notes. We have the 6, thats all we need.
