New RX-8 Pros / Cons
Hey guys
I'm thinking of buying a new RX-8 and I've been reading up a little bit on the pros and cons of the model. I'm interested in the car for the following reasons:
Styling
"4-Door" Sports Car
Goodies (Bose System, Navi System, Htd Seats)
Cornering / Handling
However, I've been reading that there are disappointments by some owners in the area of fuel economy and low-speed torque. Are there any other things that a prospective buyer should watch out for?
Thanks
Brad

Torque really isn't as much as a problem as some say. But the only way to know is to test drive for yourself. The car is very peppy, it zooms all over.
Poor fuel economy is the only real drawback, but if you look at it as a sports car, you'll see the can't isn't really that bad. Most people (including myself) get 18-22 mpg, more if you're on the highway a lot. I've heard reports of 26-27mpg when cruising at 65mph, but haven't been able to test that myself.
