Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy a new 2009 RX-8 GT/R3. Anyone get any good deals for 2009 or previous years? If so, how much and what was your strategy to get that price? Thanks!

I got my '09 Sport for $24,500 (invoice) with tax, title and fees thrown in free to boot. It was the last one on the lot and it was Christmas Eve and they needed to meet a quota for the end of the year. Just play hard ball with them and be prepared to walk away, no matter what. If you do walk away (like I did at first) and they really want to make a sale, they'll call you back with an offer, provided they have your number. You're probably not going to get a monster deal like that on a GT, or an R3 for that matter, because EVERYONE wants those. But, think about it: if I was to spend a little bit of money on a couple of upgrades, I could have a similar or better car...for a lot less. Owning an R3 is just for the sake of the image.

I bought my 09 Grand Touring 8 For $29k (listed for $36K) every bell and whistle mazda has to offer including satilite radio and Navi.

clean used 07' GT no navi for $18,995 out the door with 92 miles. Dealer had is mismarked as a sport model. lol
