I leased my 2004 with a sticker price brand new for $34,000 .. paid $325 per month with a $6K downpayment. Now 4 years later I have 58K miles and they went from offering it to me first at $17K, then $14K and just recently for $10K..I'm not going to buy it out tho .. long story

At this point, being the end of the year, is it unheard of for MAzda dealerships to be willing to unload 08's for under invoice?

I'm strongly considering trading my 05 shinka for a 40th AE, and with "invoice pricing" combined with Mazda's $3500 rebate and my $1000 customer loyalty, the 40th's range from ~$27-$29k out the door.

Any opinions as to if/when Mazda will up the rebate and/or dealerships will be willing to "unload" inventory for less than invoice???

Yea, I've been looking around at a lot of options lately, and have seen a few used on ebay. There are sooo many new ones that can be had for maybe 3-4k more than a used. That's why I was wondering if mazda had any intentions of bumping the rebates, and/or dealerships are willing to go under invoice.

I think you can definitely get a 2008 for below invoice. I got mind for 2K below invoice for my New manual with performance package and spoiler sports model(21K+tax), but at the time(June 2008) not all dealerships were willing to do that. I think all the dealerships are hurting right now so ...you'll probably be able to get a reallly good deal.

Not quite purchased yet...

I am in the process of getting bids for a 2009 GT. My credit union found a car here in the SF Bay Area for $1500 under invoice ($1000 under invoice then some sort of $500 credit from Mazda), but I have not heard back from the other car buying service yet. I will post back here once I hear more, but I thought that was a pretty good price (though the other service said they usually very much beat credit union prices). The credit union quoted (before taxes and registration) a price of $28,825 but the other service will get back to me and I will let y'all know!

Anybody have an idea of what rebates or incentives were during some past April-May-ish area? I would think it's better than the $500 @3.9% or $1500 cash they have now. I ordered a Black R3 and expect it around April.

I just bought an '05 Titanium Grey GT for $12,500 about a month ago.

A Hyundai dealer around here (that I expressed my interest for an RX8 to) just got an '05 Sunlight Silver in with more miles then mine and is selling it for $17,990. I sort of want to laugh at them... I feel bad for the person who actually buys it for $18k!

Just found a used R3 being offered for $27,995 by a dealer with 5,700 miles. That price seems really high considering I got a quote for a brand new one for 28.5k (rebate included). That deal doesn't seem too bad, but I'm afraid to find out what they would give my for my trade - an '04 that just turned 70K.

New '08 40th Anniversary- bought right before Christmas in Dec 08: S-Plan - $3500 rebate for '08s- $1000 owner loyalty rebate = $26K. Sticker was about $33.5. Invoice was (I think) around $30.5 (I can't call up new pricing on MSN Autos anymore for '08s but S-Plan price and invoice are very close).

CT 2008 40ae

I am in CT and thinking of selling my 2008 40AE and posted on the CT board.
It has all the options (I don't subscribe to sat radio but I think you can interface with the Bose). I would want a cash sale very soon however.

Clean title. Email me about pricing
(I am in CT having moved from Charlotte a few years ago)

It has 3,578 miles.
It has been under a Wolf indoor car cover on a battery tender since October (in my garage). Both included in sale.
It is mint....absolutely nothing wrong. I am very particular with my autos (this is my 4th rare car/bike in the last few years).

I had the complete 3M clear bra installed on the nose and rockers. (I have the receipt.) I love 3M and you can't really see it on the gray paint.
Sample of specs/options....
- 6sp manual
- Smart key
- Exterior paint is Metroplitan Gray Mica
- Interior is Cosmo Red Leather
- Blue tint fog lights
- 40th Anniversary Rotary Engine badge
- Unique 18-inch aluminum alloy design
- Sport suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers
- Urethane foam injected front-suspension cross member
- Silver painted engine cover
- Rear spoiler, ground effects
- Sunroof
- Bose audio (multi CD)

It has full factory warranty. I did have the oil pan replaced under warranty as the oil sending unit was dripping just a tad. Apparently they have to replace then entire pan and sending unit together (they mentioned something about a VIN/code on it and they had to special order -- maybe specific to 40th AE but I know it also fastens inside the pan).

Send me email for a few photo I took in the garage the other day.

I got an 08 40th anniversary edition, on the road (taxes, tags included) for 27,800. The sticker was 31,300. Before taxes/tags it was an even 27,000. Oh, and I got $812 for my 1997 toyota camry that had 256,000 miles on it. I think that was for the fairly new tires.

I paid around that for my 2008 GT last June (not a 40th) and less than 50 miles, with extras like spare tire and iPod connection, not to mention the extended warranty. The dealer was serious (sticker was over $32K). Hopefully the previous owner didn't beat on it for those 11,000 miles.

Thanks but I already took the car down here, had a trade in anyways. The car I just got is in great condition and pulls very hard, harder than I remember my 04 I used to own.

I paid about 15.5k for the car and dealership fees. Since I bought it out of state, I still have to claim taxes in Mass so that will probably be around 16k? The car is a 2006 with 33k miles and has every single possible option available. It's had two previous owners, but is still in good condition! Very happy about the price =)

Has anyone tried to get pricing on the '09 R3? A few dealers around here have at least one in stock but they are pretty much being ****** on the price, trying to play the "special edition" card on me. All I can do is roll my eyes and walk out. It's winter in Wisconsin so apparently they think someone will be willing to pay sticker come springtime so they can't give me a good deal now. These dealers are out of their minds.
