How long for VIN#?
When we placed the order, Mazda said to expect a VIN# in 3 to 4 weeks. It's been 5 weeks. My dealership also professes surprise at the delay.
If you ordered your vehicle, how long did it take to get the VIN number from Mazda?

That was considered a pre-order, am I right?
I'm wondering about anyone who has recently gone through the process and gotten a VIN within the last month or 2.

No actual VIN here but the dealer does have the shipping invoice for the one I'm after. Unfortunately the port is just really slow about getting them out right now. The dealer has been told to expect at least two shipments before the end of the year though due to even newer cars due to arrive immediately after the trucks haul these out. Firm answer - no, not really; but at least it's within a couple of weeks.
hope that coffe wasnt too hot- ouch!
