I know there are zillions of variables that affect how long it takes from an 'under construction' car to a delivered car...

To those fortunate ones who have their 8's: how long was (this part of) your wait?

 

Build date of 6/13 took delivery on 8/6. I was losing my mind by the end of July.

 

I had a build date of 6/26 and picked my car up Saturday.

 

You just got it Saturday and are willing to pull yourself out of the car to post?

Congratulations! Incidentally, how do you like the Nordic Green? I ordered it sight unseen, but the few pics I've seen on this site look great.

Car was built 6/17. Released from port 8/1. Still waiting.

I love it- the color is really, really nice. I've got the tan/black interior too, and everyone so far thinks it looks great.

And as much as I'd love to be driving it right now, 1) I have to work to pay for it and 2) I had knee surgery two weeks ago and don't get off the crutches till Friday. My husband drove it off the lot, and then drove it all over this weekend (with me in the passenger seat barking orders- "Get away from the Jersey wall!" "Look out for that pothole!" STAY UNDER 6000 RPMS!!"). I did test drive one three days before the surgery, so, unfortunately, I know exactly what I'm missing and it's driving me nuts.

Just shy of 7 weeks... built on 5/27, delivered on 7/14

 

Build to delivery = A little over 8 weeks.
Build to happy driver = Seems like forever to me.

Ordered: 1/20
Build: 5/29 :D
Delivered: 7/28 :D :D
Driving: Hopefully 10/1 :D :D :D

 

Well, for now, it looks like the average time is about 8 weeks from build to delivery.

I would imagine the faster times are more recent, it taking longer originally, but maybe that's just hopeful thinking on my part!
