MA How to locate a Blue or Red 2009 R3???

I am debating a 2009 R3, but only find black in my area. This will be a Daily Driver, I promised myself I would never ever buy a black car again especially for a Daily Driver.

Anyway besides going back and forth entering different Zip codes is there a way to look up R3's with in 100 miles or so from my house?

I love white and their are a couple of white Sports available, that would be a steal with the rebate, could get it new for like $22k.

I would prefer the R3 though.

Thanks,

Bill

Go to your local Mazda Dealership, they should be able to find one for you

edmunds actually lets you search new car inventory with specified miles radius from your zip. i'd use that

WOW that was quick. I will give edmunds a shot. The only issue I have is the Gas Mileage. I travel a lot for work, but I do have the option of getting Rental Cars when I travel far.

I love the look of the R3 and always have had Leather and Heated seats. Love the wheels as well, would just have to pick up a set of winter wheels.

Thanks All

You can also do a search for R3s from the Mazda website. This is how I found mine (and ended up purchasing last saturday).

The Mazda website has the same search feature as Edmunds.

I know about the Gas mileage issue, that is what has me debating. Still have not spoken to the wife either. I get a new car every year or so, she got the last one though so I am due.

I located a Blue, I have not seen that color in person. From pictures it would more than likely be my first choice as long as it is not to dark and as difficult to take care of as black.

The Blue is pretty easy to keep looking clean imo. Right after a rain, it still gives people whiplash.

You mentioned heated seats as a preference... you won't get em on the R3. They don't come on the Recaros....and the seat adjuster is manual as well. Just as a friendly FYI.

I noticed the heated seats, not a huge deal. My wife loves them more than I. I am still up in the air at this point.

Thank you

Sounds to me like a loaded GT is more up your ally. A local member here has a Red R3 and its sweet but not worth what they are asking sticker. If you can get them down to $26-28k out teh door I think that's fair but I'm speaking in Texas terms.

The Mazda web site works great for searching out R3 models. Enter a zip code or city/state to search around and then tell them how far you're willing to travel (can choose up to 250 miles). They'll give you all RX8s, then you filter it down to the specific model you're interested in. I ended up doing this myself and buying a car nearly 600 miles away. Fortunately, I was able to get a Southwest ticket for $49 to go retrieve it. Worked out well for me at least!
