btw the mazda dealer i went to is the LARGEST MAZDA....so sell volume so to take a hit one car is nothing to them....giving me the ca and building a reputation for doing right and making things happen will get them more sales

i think the point was that it happens and it is possible to get some silly deals if your lucky and persistant enough.....no arguements needed it just happens sometimes...but the fact that it did happen makes it a representative sale because it was in fact a sale

Your trade figure seemed generous for a modded car. Perhaps they have a home for the car as-is, and that home has lookign for said items. Perhaps they truly did want your trade it. Besides the dealer being on the edge of reaching an Objective based INcentive, that would be my guess.

I have seen alot of Chris's posts, btu if you guys look aroudn on this forum you will see a lot of mine. YOu will notice I have a bit of knowledge on theis subject,a nd I try and help peopel make informed purchase decisions. Becuase of this I questioned the validity of the price, and reallistically ask people to strike it from their memory as unachievable under normal curcumstances.

I.e Great JOB!

look i dont want to debate we can agree to disagree.

the deal happened is it rare of course but they happen. i just happened to be a lucky one i guess

so back to topic on hand look for a left over and get a great deal, or nego for an 08 or get a preowned for cheaper...

if you are worried about the economy which is a valid point then bro simply dont purchase at the moment...

He must be talking about Wayne Mazda in Wayne, NJ.

Yes that is the world's largest Mazda dealership. I've been there they have like couple hundred cars in the back parking lot. I was like *whoa*

They can beat any dealership's pricing simply because they're the largest. I did not get my CX-7 from them tho. first they're too far away from me, second they dont have my father's choice of color and equip at that time, so I got it at another dealership with a brand new just fresh off the boat 08 Cx-7 for like 2-3 K under invoice.

If Mazda's customer service (Mazda tech line to be exact) gets better, I might buy my next Mazda from them.
