hey
i have a modded Ion Redline, not trading it in.
i really like the look of the RX-8
It seems like a great car to own.
i wouldnt want to mod it much, just a good intake and the mazda exhaust.
does everyone love this car?
anything you could let me know about the car would help.
thanks alot

Your "question(s)" seems pretty much vauge. I'm not really sure on how to answer you but I will be the first in a long line to let you know that there is a search button on the tool bar of this page. You can put in general faqs or go to the advanced section and look under specific titles. This forum is like a library for the 8. If you take some time to read past conversations and posts you'll walk away with a lot of knowledge on everything from how to do "things" yourself to general complaints and praises of the car.
If you should post a thread like this, please put a SPECIFIC question and nothing as vauge as what's up with this car? If you are interested in intakes, there is a general consensus on which intakes work best with the car as not all are created equal for the 8. Same with exhaust systems, etc. Every knick knack you buy has the potential for making your car run/go a little bit better or screwing everything up. The 8 is a very balanced car, so pick your mods carefully and do homework.
That is my advice to you and keep us posted when you get your 8. I hope I've been able to help.

Power!!
Love the car. Give it an honest test drive and see what you think. There are a few small recalls but anything you get from a dealer should have them done. I have 53K miles on my car (no real mods) and they only think I have had to pay for so far is regular maintenence. Any other issues (they've been small stuff) have been covered by warranty. So far it's the best car I've owned. Only thing to be careful of is it's not a great winter car if you have to drive a lot in heavy snow.

thanks for the response guys.
ive been browsing around using the search, i learned alot.
im courious about the winter driving though,
as far as being all around in my questions, i agree its way pre-mature in thinking about performance mods being i dont have the car yet and i plan on keeping the RL for a track car. (thousands invested already, no need to start over)
all your comments helped me,
good forum, i will keep you posted on my purchase.
