i am new to this website but at attempting to do my research before i go and buy my car. I am currently looking to buy a mazda rx-8 2005 with in the next month or so, and am wondering what would be a quote un quote good deal. I was looking at a mazda autormatic with either touring or grand touring. I went to a dealer the other day to get a general idea of what i could get the car for and they offered me the following prices:
1. Mazda rx-8 4speed gt with accent package MSRP: 32605, they went down to 28425 plus tags titles and processing fee.
2. Mazda rx-8 4speed with the touring package MSRP: 29863, they went down to 25368 plus tags titles and processing fee.

i felt that they were holding a lot back and not being very honest so i offered them to call me if they were willing to negotiate further.
please respond to me buy informing me on the invoice price of the two modles and approximately what i should be able to get it for in december seeing that the 06 is set to come out in december.

 

seems reasonable to me. Not the steal of the century, but far from a rip off. Did they say you had to finance with MAC? How much is their processing fee?

 

where do you live ? I live in Fort Myers, FL and are going threw the same desicion as you.

 

i live in arlington va , and the proccessing fee is 450 which seems to be a little high

 

do any of you guys think that they will offer a rebate/discount when the 06s hit the lot?

 

I just bought a 2005 RX8 with the Grand Touring package 6 speed. I paid 24,675. 26k even drive out price. This was with all rebates including the MAC.
They had a 100.00 proc fee. This was in Maryland, even though I am out of Virginia I could not find a better deal.

I went to Dar Cars in silver spring Maryland.
