hello!

hi everyone. i am the current owner of a 1999 mercury cougar automatic V6 and i am 18 years old. i'm looking to upgrade soon and i've fallen in love with the rx8. the 2004 model usually sells for 12k - 15k in my area. i am not planning on buying another automatic car so the new car would need to be a manual.

what kind of things do i need to look out for when buying a used rx8? i know very little about a 4 stroke engine and even less about a rotary. i've heard weird things about the rx8 but at the same time i've heard tons of positives.

here's my car now. it has 135k miles on it and the automatic trans is not in the best shape.

thanks for your help! i appreciate it.

It all depends. I paid 13 for an '04 with 19k miles/
Look over a car, post up the stats of a potential purchase and let the internetz help you.
