Exclamation Good deal?

Ok sorry ahead of time for being a forum noob, but I am getting ready to buy this RX-8 from a local dealer. It has 55,000 miles on it, it is a 2005, and the options include black leather, 6-speed mt, fog lights, moonroof, heated seats... Sorry I really do not know which trim level that is. But the original price around mid november was 16,999, which by my statistics is a terrible price. After I told them thanks but no thanks, the price went down to 14,999. Still ignored them. I had some bad experience with some ******* dealerships and decided to give this first place another try. First they said 100-200 more off. Now its down to 13,999 if bought by year's end, which is fine I have been very patient during this whole experience.

Obviously, what I want to know is if this is a good price? The price listed on the their site is the ever-misleading "price is after $3000 cash/trade". So bascially, I got them to waive that for me.

Here's the link if you would like to check it out. I LOVE the color, definitely my first choice (but i tiold them I hated the color and wanted red, lol.) This is also with the original price, but note the extra $3000 cash/trade. Really the price listed IS what I'm paying.

Lot of miles for the price. I would say no more than $11,500 including tax and license. See if they bite.

You start low they start high. Let the games begin.

the starting price isnt bad imo. however when you ad the tax and title and document fees, the price climbs quickly. here's a pic of the charges that were tacked onto the price of my 8 when i purchased it. for comparison purposes, my RX-8 is an 05 with 30K. it is a Sport with 6spd. it has the rear spoiler, side aero flares, and trunk mat as optional accesories:

for some reason, the pic will not show up. it's deleting the [IMG] codes..but the link works just fine.
