I also want to know if you can tell me if it is a GT or not? I am looking for something within 300 miles of Livonia, Michigan. Preferably red interior black exterior. Needs to be an AT.. a black interior is OK as well.. I am having trouble finding something and the closer the better in case any one sees anything.

 

it is a GT noted by the leather interior. the price is certainly high for an '04 especially for an AT. just so that your friend is aware, the '04 AT is a 4 port/speed auto and might want to consider MT or a newer 8.

 

CTrx8- Unfortunately he doesn't know how to drive an MT.. and can't the tourings have leather as well as the GTs?

can anyone suggest another place other then autotrader to look for a used car?

 

Craigslist might be a best bet, but it varies on a community by community basis, and it's very possible that there may not be a Craigslist for your area.

Asides from Autotrader, Craigslist is probably your best bet for used cars.

If you want to get a used car from a dealership, it might be worth searching the inventory of local Mazda dealerships.

craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, local newspapers, and this forum's for sale section are all great places to look. and unless it's a canadian rx8, touring models will not have leather (i'm pretty sure canadian ones do). GT adds leather, heated seats, and heated mirrors to the touring package.
