Good Dallas metro dealer?
Looking for recommendations on a good Dallas metro area dealer (thanks to a well-connected, extremely cool co-worker, I'm S-Plan, if that matters). A quick search from mazdausa.com seems to show rather limited inventory.
Suggestions on a good dealer?

I have seen them bashed on here but they did me right. Eldorado in McKinney, I worked the deal completely over email. They accepted the draft that I got for my previous car as the trade so I saved 862 in taxes and didn't have to haggle with them over my trade in value. I hate that part cuz they act like it is one deal, that way they make one go up and the other go down...Tracy in the internet dept. is who I dealt with, tell him Chad Cooper referred you. My GF went with me to find mine and she ended up buying a 3 that day, they were good with her too, no B.S.
Just wanted to share my experience.

I recommend Hiley Mazda of Hurst. I didn't like Hiley Mazda of Arlington. They were only interested in money. They wouldn't even deal with me. Threw a number in my face for a RX-8 and wouldn't go down at all.

More info??
Coop '04, I'm in the process of talking to El Dorado. I'm assuming you sold your previous vehicle and had El Dorado use that figure to lower the taxable sale on the rx-8. Did they offer to do this? Also what finance rates should I expect to get with excellent credit?
-Thanks

Well I sold mine to a guy (auto broker) that they have dealt with, and he gave me a draft for it. If you just go in with a check of your own I am not sure they can do it because thats' the point of the taxes. What I am saying is I think the draft goes on the books differently than a check would. As for interest rates, Mazda was a little high and I too have excellent credit, but Eldorado can work through Community Credit Union (known for the best rates) so you might try them, they were around 3-6% (it depended on the length of the loan) when I checked. I actually went with a lease it made more sense for me, if the general terms of the lease are ok to you I would check it out you can save some $$ there too.

Dallas Metro Dealer
Can only speak for the buying experience as we don't get the car until this weekend but Hancock Mazda get's a thumbs up from me. They accepted my offer with very little hassle. Located exactly what we wanted. One of the owners made it a point to find us and introduce himself, thanked us for the business. I'll comment further on delivery process and service as they come to pass. I recall reading other positive threads about Hancock on this site as well. Good Luck!

Congrats on the new 8...Would you mind telling us what you payed and the options on your new 8?
I've been having second thoughts about buying a 2004 model, but with the prices so good it's hard to resist. I wonder if they'll be selling 2005's at or below invoice.

Price Paid
Options are GT pkg, 6 disc chgr., Spare Tire Kit, cargo net, rotary accents, AT, polished chrome wheels (was told their cost was $1099), will have Dunlops versus Potenza mounted. Drive out price was 31,980. Did not have S-Plan. No incentives whatsoever. Used Mazda 0.0% 24 mo. financing. Like I said I felt this was a decent price and really didn't feel the need to shop it further. After seeing some of the other prices posted I am not fully convinced I couldn't have done better though.
