Well.......after waiting and deciding on what new car I wanted I settled on an RX-8. I got the pearl white 6spd.......I love it. I am new to the forum but I have been doing all of my research on the car here. This is my first rotary so Im sure I will have some questions for you guys some time. I will post pics when I get some...been raining alot here in FL.

 

If you would post a little more info on final selling price and options and your experience with which local dealer(s).

I am in lakeland area and wish to find a good dealer with invoice pricing or better.

 

I had a wonderful experience with my dealer (MazdaCity of Orange Park)......Without any haggle.......I just asked for his best price on the White and he said $200 over invoice..........that beat every dealer near me. Its just the base 6spd with the whitewater pearl paint........it ended up being right around $28k out the door.......

I guess I beat you with getting it at invoice though! muahahh~ hahaha just kidding, just kidding.

Welcome! You'll love the car! First bit of advice...check the oil at least once a week. I've been burning a quart about every 1500 to 1800 miles. Enjoy!

 

Thanks for the welcome guys......I already love this car. This is also my first stick shift car.....but im coming along fine. I ordered and received my clear corners today....easy install in like 10 minutes. I think all white 8's should have the clears. Get my windows tinted tomorrow and hopefully I will order a body kit soon. I have tons of plans for this car but i am in no hurry since the car already looks awesome. I think im the only one in my area with white, so it really stands out...compliments all the time. If the weather clears up i will take some pics this week and post in the calling all whites thread.....thanks all......

 

Sounds like you got an ok deal. I am just hoping that the rebates kick in when I am ready to knock it down to 26k like what happened on the 04 models.
