I couldn't resist driving so my new 8 has been rained on. Tomorrow I am getting the xpel clear bra put on my 8. Living in the city and highway driving kicks up a lot of rock and other crap so I'm going to protect it as best as possible

I am thinking about the clear bra too....it's expensive. I hate all the darn material & gravel companies out where I live.....my last mazda had a bunch of little rock knicks all over the front bumper. I want to buy strakes and use the $500 for gas too. I have been driving my 8 but I wish the sun would come out!! Enjoy!

mikeb.........yes worth the wait.....little disappointed in gas mileage and it seems to drive better in manual shift mode. regular automatic driving seems choppy or something.

the auto takes time to get uste to, the pedal is real touchy.
the gas mileage should improve around 2000 miles

Noticed the car likes to be fully warmed up to perform well. I bet I am getting between 13-16mpg right now. I sure hope it improves....third tank of gas....420 miles with 1/2 of the third tank left. Next time I fill up(which will be shortly) I will see what I am getting. Two guys in the Auto Zone store were checking out my car and were trying to figure out what kind it was.....they asked if it was an Infiniti!! Then when I told them the one guy knew it had the rotary engine and said what a cool car!
