Finally found a clean 8 I can buy

I know this older guy who has a titainium 2004 with leather and 6 cd changer. I'm going to his house today to see if it's a GT or what. Has about 25 k miles on it. Lemme see what kind of deal I can work with this. He's letting me take the car home for a day.
I'll post back here when I know more.

.....and now a joke.......

Guy walks into a bar holding a turtle in his hands. He yells out "I'll take any bets that I can suspend this here snapping turtle on my pecker for 60 seconds, any takers?"
About 15 guys get up from their seats and walk over to the bar slapping money down.
He undid his pants, and thumped the turtle a couple of times on the head with his pecker. the turtle blinked slowly then opened his jaws and clamped them down hard on the end of the guy's tool. The crowd gasped seeing this and surrounded the guy intently watching the second hand on the clock on the wall. The turtle was hanging between the guys legs swinging freely while he suppresed a scream and held both fists out clenched. "He's gonna make it" one of the bettors said to another. During the last 15 seconds the turtle began to work it's jaws back and forth and when one minute was reached, the guy grabs a toothpick off the bar and pokes the turtle in the eye causing the jaws to release. "Whew....made it" he said as he collected his money and stuffed it into his pocket. In a loud voice he then said "I'll double anyone's money who wants to try and make it for 60 seconds"!!! A thin delicate appearing man at the rear of the crowd raised his hand and said in a lisp "I'll try if you promise not to poke me in the eye with that toothpick"

It is a GT, because that's the only '8 package that includes leather seats.

Funny joke BTW. Here's another... 2 lesbian frogs making out, one says to the other "hey, our legs do taste like chicken"

Found more details

2004 tit grey heated leather and 6 cd changer. Sticker was $31490. I don't see the
rotary accent package so I don't know what else it might have. Body is excellent.
interior is clean as well and the leather is in excellent shape. Only 1 little problen, it has 40,495 miles on it. I know this guy and I know most of the miles are freeway driven.
Should I buy this car ? What would be a reasonable offer? He tried to trade it but (of course) the dealer told him $15,000. He said no way so it sits in his garage. Is $19,000
too much???

Thanks

Mark in El Paso

Oh, and PS...it has a sunroof

TOO MANY MILES FOR $19K. I don't think that car is worth more than $16K.

I wouldn't recommend a 2004 with more than 32K miles. You want to have some warranty left on it.

For $19K, you should be able to get a much lower miles 2004 Grand Touring or a higher miles 2005 GT.

Check out Craigslist.org and cars.com. It is a buyers market. Don't overpay.

The GT package has leather and the sunroof together.
