Edmunds and KBB reflects under MSRP pricing

As I'm in the market for the RX-8 (although still hesitant), I occassionally monitored the TMV and KBB market pricing on the car. It has always been at MSRP and higher (in the case of KBB). Not anymore. This is good news for as well as for those who are buying one soon. With this, plus other success stories from the other threads, we are in a good position to get a decent deal. Here are the links. Hope it works. If not, just navigate back to the main page and start from scratch:

you can get it at least 500 over invoice now at some places. I did over in ohio.
the two main dealers here have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many of them now and NEED to get rid of them before the pile up more, Just shop aroubd and bargain. DONT PAY MSRP. no reason to.

It appears that either KBB and Edmunds are slow in incorporating all the new sales way under MSRP or there's so many people paying msrp that the low prices being posted on this board don't affect the average.

Also, the price went up from 3900 to 4000 for the GT package for the MT. KBB reflects the recent change but Edmunds doesn't. Not knowing if KBB might just be wrong, I visited Mazda's site. When you click option details they still show 3900 but when you add it and move on to the next page, it shows 4000. As an aside, I recently (within last week or so) found a page that still listed the higher HP. It may have been mazda uk instead of usa though.

Se eif you can get that $500 over invoice price for an order of a Sport; I suspect not.

I think many dealers just ordered too many GTs with every option on the list checked...
