Do I buy or walk away?

Do I buy or walk away?
I'm considering buying a 2005 RX8 , manual trans, with less than 50k miles.
Pros--still has engine core warranty. Less than 50k miles. Maintenance records with no body damage.
Cons--Never went to Mazda for oil changes and I read in some posts you want to use a special or factory filter. Tires have less than 10k but one was just replaced and does not match.
I read in FAQ'S ...
I need to confirm any recalls have been performed including PCM Flash. Potential converter replacement.
Ignition coil can be a problem.
There is a starter Battery Package for restart problems. Does that mean a replacement starter ?
Also read ...
Clutch mounting is a known problem for early models.
Potential flooding problems.
What else am I missing?
What do you think it' worth? Asking $11,500
PS
Owned a 1971 240Z for years, will a RX8 give me the same efffect?
Thanks for the advice.

do you know if its a GT or Sport or Base, and call Mazda North America they will let you know if all the maintenance is up to date. Just FYI i got mine for 11.5 with 41k miles they were asking 13 for it, you can prolly talk em down a little but it seems like a pretty good price if nothing is seriously wrong with it.

Yes. They will give you the whole repair history that was done at Mazda dealers.
It's about $100 to get a compression test at a Mazda dealer, which would tell you if the engine is in good shape. But you still have another 50k engine core warranty so it's not that critical. Just don't be surprised if you need an engine replacement at some point.
