Changed Order/Test Drove Again

Well I headed down to Flemington Mazda again to make sure I was eligible for the $500 Cash Back and the Free Maintenance for the life of the warranty. Turns out they didn't know until I mentioned it and they opened a "priority" package that was sent to them. That all worked out fine. In addition he'd check if he could get me an additional $200 dollars off to the $300 they'd already given me. This is just because 1000 is so much of a more pleasing number then 800 ($500+$300).

Before all this is hammered out, he asked me if I'd like to test drive it. (He didn't know I had done it at twice 1auto 1stick at other dealerships.) So I'm like sure I have time to kill, boy I'm glad I did. I drove a silver 6sp with black leather. Even though I had given it a pretty good once over the last time I test drove, this time I really opened her up. I did a drop from 5000 by accident, the plastics where still on the floor. That thing just FLEW! I don't see how you can have complaints about power outside the drag racing department. Its plenty fast for me. And from this point on, any "the power isn't enough for me shouldn't be taken seriously" unless the person drove the car and I mean drove, not kept I it under 5000 rpms. On another note, I mentioned "why is the check engine light on?" he said "the car hasn't been prepped yet". Does that mean it didn't have oil? If so I apologize to the future owner .

Anyway on the way back he mentioned they had a blue which I never saw and a Titanium Grey which I wanted to take a second look at. Long story short I crashed into the blue one that started a fire that blew up the Grey 1, Gotcha. Just so it's clear no that didn't happen. I saw Black and Titanium next to each other and I went back into the dealership and changed my order to Grey since the production date isn't till first week of October I had lost sleep over this issue before but I'm finally secure with my choice.

Anyway thats my really long drawn out story just to assure people that at least this dealer is following what Mazda has said in regards to the HP issue and preorder customers.

Hehe... when I drive it I was pleased that the dealer got a little lost and told me the turning at the last minute... it gave me the excuse to throw it into the corner a bit enthusiasticly... which was nice...
