Can you bargain on price when ordering?
I was just wondering because I've read on here about people getting their 8s for close to invoice. I imagine that you should not be able to get as good of a deal as you would if you bought the car off the lot. The only reason I ask is because I am very hesistant to buy a car that has been test driven.
It does not cost the dealership a dime more if they order it, but what it does is push off a sale now for a sale in a few months, so most dealerships will want to push you into a car off the lot.
I don't know what the deal is with holdbacks.... if that applies to orders too. If so, the holdback reward on an ordered car would appear to be pretty good for the dealership since they don't have it sitting on the lot lowering their payout.

Thanks for the information. I really want to order, but I was worried about not being able to bargain on price. One dealer actually told me that they will not order a car for anything under MSRP. I figured this was b.s.
