Talking can someone help this newb?

Hi, I'm 21 college kid. After working my *** off for about a year and a half, I finally have enough money for my downpayment!!
I was planning to buy an 8 around end of May of end of June.
But being as poor as I will be after I buy an 8, I want to get a real nice deal on it.
I'm looking for tit grey, MT, GT, no nav, no appearance package since i'll be installing a body kit.
I haven't started shopping yet, but one dealer offered me $100 over invoice.
Is that a good deal around this time? or should I push more?
Help me here!!

Whenever they tell you, "this is the best deal we can offer" it prob isn't. :p Don't be afraid to tell them you'll have to think about the deal, and be willing to walk out. Never say something like, "WOW! thats a great deal." You should almost always seem like your unsatisfied untill you've made the salesman want to cry (ok not really).

I just got my 8 today, they wanted 27,200 for it, I got em down to 25,500, not bad...but then I had them bump up the residual (cars value after my lease) and that lowers payments. If I could have financed the car (to own it) I would have, cause its a better way to go, but I had to lease it. Then I had him lower my APR rate, then I had him play with some other numbers...my lease went from $357 to $304 a month (took a few tries to get it that low though). Again, its obvious here that the final price didn't matter as much as the other numbers he manipulated, don't just look at the bottom line. So if there is ANY deal to be had, find out about it!

Milk every dime you can get, try to get lower APR rates or whatever you need to do to manipulate the numbers. Sometimes the sticker doens't matter if they are charging you a high APR or theres some other hidden deal.

Shoot for invoice (or better). I just bought my RX8 yesterday at invoice. It was not difficult to find dealers willing to sell for invoice and I'd guess that if I pushed it I could have gotten a little below invoice.
