California legal cats?

How do I replace 2004 RX 8 catalytic converters without spending a lot of $ in California. purchased an 8 on Craigs now come to find cats are hollowed out. 113k miles
Dealer rices are outreaugous. Thanks

How many miles on your car? The catalytic converter is covered under federal warranty for 8yr/100K

theres an RP super for 350.

its higher flowing than a stock cat, is emissions legal, and cheaper than stock cats from the dealer

Are you sure this is CA legal? Or is it just 49 state legal, CA excluded. I contacted RP and asked the same question and have not heard back from them yet.

The short story is, there seems to be no legal RX-8 aftermarket converter for California at this time.
