Well I'm going to go take a look at an '04 with 67,000 miles in a few days. Since the car is a little higher up there in the miles I was just wondering what I should look out for on it since it's no longer under warranty.

Some basics on the car:

It's an 04 6spd with 67,000 miles on it. It is being sold at a dealership, the asking price is 15,000 which seems like a good deal (also looking through the spreadsheet that's posted here it seems about the right price). It's the sport package w/ the Bose audio and 6-CD and rear spoiler. Carfax comes up clean, but I'll still give it a good look over to make sure.

Now I already know a couple of things that I'm going to try and find out such as what recalls/TSB's have been done on it if any (is there anyway to find out about it other then just asking them? I know with the oil dipstick thing I can check that, but what about the other stuff.). If the 60k maintenance has been completed on it or not. There must be some things I am leaving out of it.

So is this a good buy assuming everything checks out ok?

Run a compression check before you take the car out, and make SURE that you get the Actual compression numbers, not *Engine has passed the test* kind of crap.
