First poster here...........

I decided to sell my 85 GSL-SE and step up to a RX8

Going to test drive different models this weekend.............

Any deals out there? Option packages better than others.....

What are the must haves...

Looking to have more comfort .............I can hardly wait...........

I also still can forget than RX8 and sevenstock blasting the tunes.............

I am in So Cal............any dealers worth hitting up?

Thanks

Jim

I got a 6MT with the Grand Touring package.

I think the general consensus is that the RX8 needs the TSC/DSC package (I think that comes with the Sport Package). After reading some of the stuff others have gotten into without it, I wouldn't get one without.

I got the GT package because I figured if I was spending that kind of dough on a car, I wanted to get all the major bells (especially leather).

I purchased on the S-Plan, so I didn't have to hassle on price - I just had to find a dealer who had what I wanted.

Seeing that the dealer still makes a profit on S-Plan sales, you might try the "my friend has an S-Plan eligibility in a few months, but if you can cut me something really close, I'll buy sooner" pitch....

Mazda S-Plan pricing sheets are google-able.

I think the sports pkg is a must. Look at build date on drivers side door post sticker, the later the better. :D
