Been a long time coming...

Ok, we'll take a break so all the pervs can get the giggles out of their heads....

Looking at my join date, you can tell I've been here for a couple days, finally found an 8 that might fit the bill:

07 GT MT
Stormy Blue
MazdaSpeed v2 Catback
tsw mondello 18x8 wheels
3800 miles

It's a "dealer hack" so I'm guessing the 3800 miles haven't been the nicest. Salesdude says the car is worth 36k but b/c of the mileage he'll give it to me for 30k! I'm really feeling like this guy doesn't want to sell the car.

Thoughts?

thanks all!

I havent kept up too much on RX8 prices but in oct 2005 I got a 2005 GT Loaded, leather, no nav for 30K out the door.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but with 3800 miles on it, I would offer him $26K for it. Sounds like this dealer doenst want to play ball -- i dont konw much about the current market except that there are WAYYY better deals out there.

Has the car been titled? That is a very important question, worth at LEAST $2k. If it's an untitled Demo, that might not be so bad(assumign you like the mods). If that's a used car, then you are paying retail for the MODS...

And it will be a longer time now....

Perhaps a second-gen 8 will be in my future instead. Thanks for everyone's comments and suggestions, I had decided that I would go no higher than 26.5k for the car, but alas I need somebody to buy my old house in Dallas first.

Anybody want a house there? :D
