Anyone got any quotes on 2006 models yet?

Hi

Do you have any quotes on a 2006 car yet? How is the price looking compared to the 2005?

Regards,
Richard

Disregarding all dealer discounts at this time, by MSRP the auto costs more, the manual costs less, so that is the same price. However, the price on most of the options also went up.

Mine 2006 has an MSRP of $36,104, which actually ended up being the same price as if I were to get the same thing in a 2005.

The starting off price for my car will be $400 over invoice for using Costco and available discounts I am eligible for will come off that price. My car should be ready for me to pick up either this weekend or early next week.

Thanks.. I'm actually looking to find out what the final price comparisons are like, not the MSRP. I know people are looking at new '05s for around the $6-7K off MSRP (6MT with Grand touring). I wondered if anyone had a 2006 model quote equivalent?

So far I'm around $3K under MSRP right now. I don't know what kind of discounts I can get off that yet until I finalize the paper work after my car is finished with being unloaded, inventoried, and prepped. I should have the final price soon.

This is what I ordered (don't know if fender strakes are included of if they will be added since I told them I wanted then when I placed my order but it wasn't on their order form at the time):

Winning Blue
6-Speed Manual
Black Leather
Grand Touring Package
Appearance Package
Rotary Accent Package
Navigation System
Alarm Shock Sensor Upgrade
In-Dash 6-Disk CD Changer
Rear Wing Spoiler
Spare Tire Kit
Fender Strakes

My 2006 was $300 over invoice using the Costco auto buying program. Without the program, nobody wanted to deal in my area since they all had 2005's on the lot.

My dealership told me "It looks to be about high $32K right now without having the papers in front of me." This, of course, is before any potential discounts.
