Any problems with the Auto 2004 Rx8?

Hey everybody. have a good deal in hand for a used Rx8 Auto 2004. Anybody know any problems regarding the autp version.?

Loses character. You'll be wasting a rotary engine if you get the auto. I'd look into something like the Skyline Coupe.

06 autos have a better engine with more HP, that's probably why people are selling the 04 /05 AT for such a bargain lately.

Have you considered a Manual?

There's a subsection on this site JUST for auto's, I'd go there and see what they have to say.

One last thought: The autos need to be driven very agressively from time to time to avoid the dreaded carbon build up. The M/T's don't suffer from this as much since most MT drivers are not afraid of the 9K redline and the AT only has a 7500 redline. (thread about this in the AT section)

bought second hand around 1.5 years ago, have 30k miles so far no problems. I love it and would never ever change to a manual but of course more power would not be a bad idea.
