Seems a tad high. I'd try and get under $17k at this time of year... Wait a coupel of days, look around compare prices/models elsewhwere ( Autotrader.com is a good place to start). After a coupel fo days of looking, go back in if you still like this car over others, and negotiate a bit more. They don't really want this car at this time of year, theey can't afford for cars to sit, and cars like ours sell better in spring. It's buying season...

The only thing is that I'm located in Phoenix AZ, so there really isn't one time that sells better than another here. I've checked a few out and can't really find anything I like. But I think I'll try and get them to $17K- at least $17,100. It drives and runs great.

Sounds good, it's unfortunate you don't have the seasonal buying advantages. Fall/Winter is still a bad time of year for dealerships so they will still be a bit more flexible. See what you can do, after a day or so of them sweating it out, adn buy the car, you obviously like it.

OTOH, s/he doesn't have the disadvantages -- e.g. not having to think about buying another set of tires.
