They had a $2,000 lease incentive last month - I don't know if they continued it now or not - but I am pretty sure you can buy (not lease) an 8 for invoice or a little less from an agressive dealer - right now.

I don't know if the incentives are the same for every state, but there is a dealership in Ft. Lauderdale that has a $1,000 cash back incentive for the RX-8 during April. This is not for a lease though, but for purchase. By the way dwynne, you got some very impressive cars and bikes in you signature.

Thanks,

If I sold the M5 today, I would get a new 04 left over RX-8 to "replace" it :D

If I sell the M5 down the road, then I will make up my mind then............

I am asking around about the incentives for April but so far I have found none published - but the $2k lease incentive was not published either (but was confirmed by a dealer). Carsdirect for some areas of the country is showing no-haggle 8 prices of $100 under invoice. Since CD charges the dealers a fee for each sale, then some dealer is willing to take $400-600 under invoice for new 05 8s.

I am ready to buy this weekend but I have fear that next weekend there will be $1000 rebate - all of the 04's are gone in Southern Califorina and there is only
1 blue sport package availble and none coming in. I don't know what to do

I imagine if you wait long enough, there will be an incentive, but you're either willing to buy the car or not. I'd imagine there will be no advertised rebates for a few months yet.

I bought mine in August of last year, when there were no advertised rebates, but "dealer cash" got it $1200 under invoice. Just call around and see what different dealerships are willing to do (for the package you want, not necessarily the color). Pit 'em against each other. Then, use that leverage to get the price you want on the color you want.

Keep an eye out here for incentives:
http://www.mazdausa.com/MusaWeb/disp...er.offers.view

The only incentives I see for the 8 would be the $1000 MAC Lease Cash Program

Other than that there's $500 dealet cash if your are a recent college graduate (Or going to be graduating soon)

Terms, conditions, contracts, Power of Attorney, Writ of Habbius Corps and alot of other legal mumbo jumbo may apply. See store for details.
