im trying to get a rx-8 in a couple of weeks time and i saw a private seller
selling his 04 rx-8 red at $24k at 20,000 mileage
options are : GT, nav, appearance package, rear spoiler + other optiono

do u think it's a decent price?

i searched cars.com and autotrader but dealers' price seem to be so much higher
i saw other topics with people getting better deals than me, but theres only few rx-8 located around my area..

 

I think 24K is pretty high for this config. My dealer offered me an 04 red GT with 6K miles for 23K. It was never registered so came with 4 year 42K mile warranty. I think they still have it. BTW, where are you located.

 

im located somewhere in the midwest.. how do u get such a low price? i cant seem to find one.. i havent been to dealers to negotiate prices though, i have only search online.. any other tip of gettin a low price rx-8?

 

Look around in this forum and you will see that the going prices for these cars are pretty low. The resale value is pretty low. People usually advertise at or slightly above KBB or NADA values. You should be able to negotiate.
