Hi everyone I found a low mileage 04 with grand touring package with about 5000miles for $21000 firm from a dealer that sells strictly lease return vehicles. Was all ready to purchase it until I read the consumer reports very bad reliability rating for the car well the 04 model specifically the 05 got much better ratings. Can anyone tell me if all the recalls fix all these problems that plagued the 04 model? Also what about the price, the 21k is already 1k over my budget. Do you think I can get a 05 or 06 for that price maybe with a touring package instead the GT? I don't want to get a sports package unless it has the performance package too. Thanks for you help. Just bot an 04 GT with 16k miles for 22,800. some may say I overpaid, but car was extremely clean, no dings, no scratches, no wear, and was a Mazda certified car, ie another 50,000 on drive train. I did a lot of research and found cars and prices all over the board. If the 04 recalls have been done,(check carfax), then go with what you feel good with. Ive seen low mileage 04's for less than 20k, but did not want to drive 150 miles to check them out
