[HELP]Purchasing Options
Well I have been looking into buying an 8 for a bit now, but i am unsure as to what i should be paying for the car and what payment option i should take.
I am buying the car, not leasing.
I'm looking into the 2009 touring model.
How much did you pay/how much should I pay?
How much should I put down?
Is the $2,500 cash back the best option?
(I live in Ohio)
Thanks in advance!

You should be looking around $25,xxx to $26,xxx from the basic to the premium package. With tax and other fees you should expect to pay out the door upper $26,xxx to upper $27,xxx (not sure what the tax is for Ohio). Just look around and be patient if you can.
As far for payment, it boils down to your credit score, income, and your finances. For a down payment, I would recommend to just put enough that you're comfortable and that will lower your monthly payments just a tad bit (every $1,000 = $20 less a month). You can always pay a portion of your principal on top of your monthly payments if you wish (always double check with your creditor though). If you have any other questions please feel free to write away.
Good luck on your search!

I'd figure invoice minus almost another 4k. There is the 2500 cash, plus another 1500 dealer holdback you're not supposed to know about but you will probably get most of that. One dealer was so dumb and knew so little that he gave me their damn sheet with all the rebate/holdback info for me to look at which is how I found out about that and I got the entire 1500 off in my quoted price. That was awhile back though and there was only a 500 rebate at that time so I still didn't take the offer. Holding out for now for more info on the '10 and/or the 16x.
