Got an email last night from Mazda for this rebate. Yes, I can save another $500

"Program Guidelines: Current and former owners/lessees of a Mazda vehicle who received a $500 certificate via direct mail are eligible. " I will be eagerly waiting for the cash back reward package in the mail box

 

Say what? Is Mazda gonna pay me another 500 bucks for driving this awesome car?

Sweet! They are fast becoming my favorite car maker!

 

That would be a sweet rebate. I could almost buy the ms flywheel with that.

 

I am really sorry for not making it clear. The $500 rebate is only for new car purchase between December 23, 2004 through February 28, 2005.

 

What is the reason for a rebate?

 

Where do I get more info on this, I just purchased my Rx8 today so I fall under those parameters.

 

Every once in a while Mazda will have this kind of loyalty incentive. Though this time it seems like it may not be available for everyone. MyFirstRotary, you may want to call your dealer and see what they say. Here is the content of the email I received:

The following are acceptable proof for eligibility: a valid vehicle registration document; a copy of the current lease or purchase contract; or, a lease or retail payment coupon. The current Mazda owner’s vehicle must be titled/registered under his/her name (no corporations/entities allowed). Limit one loyalty offer per delivery. Actually, according to the letter you just posted, you don't have to have bought an 8 between 12/23 and 2/28. Read literally, those dates are simply the dates during which you can visit your dealer to submit your rebate. Otherwise, it sounds like Mazda randomly selects the recipients ("Current and former owners/lessees who received a $500 certificate...are eligible."). Either that or we're all about to get that letter in the mail.

 

94 , when are you getting your car? I'm in Dallas for the hoildays ( leaving tommorrow) , saw three 8's running around , actually was hoping one was you !

 

Dr, I was going to get it next week. However, I will wait for this $500 rebate package in the mail. I am also qualify for the graduate rebate, but the dealer asks for a diploma. Since I didn't go to the commencement, I didn't pick up my diploma. The university record office is probably closed and my guess is I won't get it until next year. I will call Mazda to see if my transcript is good enough as a proof. Anyway, I am anxious to get it too, but I can't pass up on the additional $1000 off after the S-Plan price

 

Got my $500 rebate certificate in the mail today. I called Mazda this moring. Apparently, it is only sent to a selected group of people. Also confirmed with the dealer, they will only honor the rebate for those who have the certificate.
