I brushed on the paint as suggested by others. A couple of key things...only paint the area under the stencil with the 'under' color. Make sure the paint is cured. I used a hairdryer and 100 watt light bulb to speed the process. Press VERY HARD with your finger nail on the stencil. Let the paint sit in the container to allow some of the solvent to evaporate. I used Plasticote paint and the top coat, black in my case, will actually disolve the 'under' coat if it isn't cured or the black is to thin e.g. high in solvent content. Then after the hair dryer and light bulb cure cycle of about 1 hour, I used small exacto blades to remove the stencil. MAKE sure the paint is cured... Good luck. I burned one stencil and made a real mess of the first caliper and learned the above the hard way. But I did one thing right from the start--- I bought 5 stencils from Polak !!!
