oh yeah... FI would be nice along with a change to the stereo I have an indash navi thats only 6 months old and i can't use it inn this car w/o spending another g to put it in

 

-Smaller diameter steering wheel. Even an Acura RSX has a tighter wheel.

-on-board trip computer

-agree with BaronVonBigmeat above concerning the MP3 decoder in the Bose system

-Bose's bang for buck is pretty weak... please consider other sound system manufacturers

What if you made the RX-8 a hybrid? Could you maintain the proper weight distribution, etc., and gain the low RPM acceleration as well as improved gas mileage?

i think mazda already knows about this one. you know what!- not many people talk about that on the forums.....lol

 

Open up the ECU, let the data be known so it can be reprogrammed. Less weight, 500lbs less would make everything better (gas mileage, tire wear, lb/hp, handling). SuperCharger through Mazda Speed for the 'we want more power' crowd.

 

Above all Turbo, direct injection at least 300 hp, were all falling ehind even the s2000

 

just these things
1) MORE HP (turbo or SC doesnt matter)
2) less weight
i bought this car to go fast and handle well... i know the vett doesnt handle that gr8(and its ugly) but it weighs the same and has 200 more hp...i mean come on rotary is suposed to be high HP low weight...
