Man, I went on one drive with these guys. It was awesome. I was with my buddy clint in his EF civic. It overheated LOL. So funny cause he always makes fun of rotarys and the only cars that had problems that day was his EF honda and these corvettes XD Anyway, www.the-winding-road.com is down.

I know these guys have 8's. Are they on here? And when will it be back up?

 

Yeah...his car got repo'd....and he took some money from people to "help" him out.

yeah kris the guy who use to put the runs together no longer has his 8 Most of us on here have gone on a Winding Roads run at sometime. I wish we still had someone committed to putting a run together on a monthly bases. It was always a great way to check out some sweet back roads and meet up with other car enthusiasts.

 

He posted on a Facebook video compilation of the drives that his RX-7 still isn't on the road and he hasn't driven in a year.

 

maybe we can get a run together sometime this summer if there happends to be a weekend that isnt full of Autox or track events.

 

Is he still going to school? What ever happened with the M3 issue?

Good! He also thought that VW was faster than my roommates 06 GTO....that **** was funny. It happened at the mall over the summer. We never saw him again after that.

The M3 owner ended up with a new engine and I see him at AutoX's a lot (actually, he still idly monitors our boards and may well chime in?). I see emails from him all the time on the various driving related email lists at work... I guess I could ask how it turned out, lol.
