Unhappy What are the odds of this...

I go to meet a friend for happy hour tonight on Lake Union. I park, look at my parking spot, and decide to move to the other part of the parking lot where I see a corner spot. I look before I back out, see a car pulling into the spot just across from me, so I wait. They pull into the stall and I back out. Just as I'm getting ready to move forward, I look over and that car is pulling back out of the stall and heading right for my 8!!! I have no time to react except to hit my horn, but .... crunch!!

So I get out of my car, start walking over, hear a voice and recognize it... it's my friend who I was meeting!!! I had no idea of what kind of car she drove. We couldn't believe it! Her car was high enough up or I was close enough to her that she didn't see my brake light or really even my car until it was too late. It's not major damage, but enough... Good thing you guys posted recommendations for good body shops lately

While I'm at it, I might as well try to get this wheel damage included in the repair work - I did that a couple of weeks ago - same side:

LOL... no, we split the bill. We decided it was both our fault. I had that little intuitive hit to stop and wait to see if the person in the other car needed to adjust how the car was situated in the spot, but NOOOOOoooo.... I went for it because I was so worried that someone would come and take the primo spot I wanted in the corner. HA!

Sorry about your luck. Overall, doesn't look to terribly bad, but I would've had to have about ten shots of Patron and called it a night.

Ouch.
The wheel can be refinished. Around here it costs a bit over C$140 per wheel.
The paint looks okay so maybe the dent removal guys can pop the metal back without a big body repair bill.

Damn Sorry To hear it... But it's made of metal, and can be fixed...

Still some alcohol probably would have helped.
