Hey all! I got to my FOB almost 2 weeks ago. It has been very quiet around here...which is good on my side of the house. We are settleing in nicely and I have everything I could have asked for.

I currently have my own office/sleeping qtrs. I have a/c, a bed with sheets, electrical, a tv & xbox 360 (necessity..right Nick??), a real bathroom with shower and porcilin crapper with clean water daily!

I have a buddy sending me some 360 games (New Halo, Batman), and have been getting a lot of care packages. I have a lot of down time, so Im hitting the gym twice a day right now.

I have blown my first couple of paychecks already...I bought a few things here. I caved in a got a custom make tux ordered. It should be done around the 20th and shipped back to MI. I also got some new parts for the 8. I got some preventative stuff like the oil cooler fans, and the syncro saver. I also wanted to try a new pulley, even though there won't be much change. Im hoping I can get it installed at my house in MI while im home in March.

We should be returning sometime early next summer. It's really not all that bad, but the sand is really messing up my breathing/sinuses. Oh well, its the price I have to pay to get some new toys and save some $.

I should've thought about the new Halo game, since I get that one dirt cheap too. ****'s been quieter around here (well, you DID have the loudest exhaust in the group ), Forza's almost out, the weather is as retarded as ever and the hippies haven't banned us from driving yet.

 

Speaking of the exhaust....lol, my gf's dad is taking care of the 8. He drove it one afternoon to work to drop it off at the storage garage for the next few weeks and got pulled over.

MI staties didn't like the window tinting or the exhaust, but since it was under WA plates and I am currently deployed he was able to tell them to go pound some sand. I guess I will have to be careful when I return back home for good.

Sadly I also won't have xbox live here. I don't have a direct personal connection.

Ive been drinking a few of the sugar free ones with breakfast everymorning. They taste better than the OJ they serve, and the juice boxes suck too. The little hodji shops give out one called "boom boom" which is kinda like red bull, but I heard that the "wild tiger" has nicotine in it...i'll stay away from that one.

Yeah.. They sent us a bunch of Lego's. Anything to pass time. Yomega and Duncan are yoyo companies. They sent us a dozen yo-yo's each. After 2 months everybody knew all the same yoyo tricks. Stay away from Atomic Pom flavored Rip It's. They're quite foul.

 

FTMFL! I made the mistake on that flavor today...we had a 12 hour mission to pull 3 old *** tanks from this town close by. We are being the good guys now helping clean up pur mess. It was supposed to be 2-3 hours per tank. It took 12 for the first. My guys are going back out tomorrow to get the others. But yeah....I almost vomited in my mouth on the atomic pom.
