I don't know how you feel about MazdaManiacs avatars, but most guys on here LOVE them (i.e. when he got banned for insubordination a few months ago, there was a lot of pressure on the mods to get him back - thankfully, they didn't cave). Now, when confronted with images like us girls have to deal with on a daily basis for our whole lives, the guys protest.. a LOT. This time, as opposed to last year, it's not a protest on our part. A couple of days ago, a guy complained about MM's avatars and someone basically said - how would you like it if it was guys doing the same things? So, voila!

 

There was no pressure to allow him to have his avatars. There were posts about his ban, which wasn't about his avatars btw.

 

Whoops, I should have been more clear. Guys seemed to want him back because they missed seeing his avatars. I know - not about the ban. My perspective anyway Al.

Well not really knowing all of what went on, or how many miles where on this M3 , or if it had been driven hard before. Im just going to call BS on this.

If he had crashed ur M3 i would see how he would be held responsible. But don't even start saying u didnt know him that well, or what kind of driving he would be doing when u let him use the car. It also sounds like u had problems with the car already... He could have been killed or got seriously hurt. Soo hopfully u will wise up! If not im sure he knows a good lawyer as well.

If you don't know why are you making judgements? Nick has already met me and saw how I reserved judgement until I got all the facts about the incident.
The M3 has 54K well cared miles on it. I have a 2 inch thick folder of maintenance and service records to prove it.

How exactly is it OK to downshift a car you're borrowing into 2nd gear at 80mph when said gear tops out at 60mph?

 

I think this is a private matter between Kris and Christian and should be removed from this thread or the thread should be locked. Especially if there is a legal case being proposed.

That's why I never borrow a friend's car (even if they offer me)......if I test drive one, I always make sure I take the owner along....

That is why went someone ask to drive my car, I tell then I wood let you go out with my wife, but not my car. I know what could happend with my wife, but I don't know what your going to do to my car!!!
