Traded in my 02 Suby 2.5RS

Yup sure did. The RS wasnt that bad of a car. Though the seats to me got more uncomfortable with time.

This RX8 though, man what a car.

I got a 04 Silver, fully loaded.

Cant wait to reach break-in.

Anything I should keep an eye out for with this car?

Yes, with a silver you should keep an eye out for other cars trying to hit you.

Congrats on the new 8.

Sounds like you're not familiar with the silver wreck curse. Just about every wrecked 8 that gets posted on here is silver.

Well, in my experience...............:

1. The 5 spd trans. isnt made for the power of the 2.5RS, let alone for the WRX. Ironmedic, you will find out. Go to www.nasioc.com for the best Subaru info.

2. The pistons were designed to prevent boosting the car, for the 02. This didnt meet what I wanted.

3. I found I drive mostly on the road. I dont need the AWD for how I like to drive. I loved the car, it had good power. I was intending to get a supercharger and custom mount it. But it still just wasnt a comfortable car for me.

I think the RX8 is a much better driving car. Though I was spoiled by the AWD, so I am taking it a bit slow lately =)

yeah i am on www.clubwrx.net and www.nasioc.com

i love the AWD and the turbo i hope u like your RX8! i would have kept mine if it was a 6spd but it wasnt happening. i am in the "turbo" stage now and probably wont come out of it for a long time. i hear the 06 WRX will get a turbo 2.5L engine! its the talk of the town on www.clubwrx.net right now.
