License Plate envy

I picked up my license plates for my 8 yesterday. I've noticed a number of new plates with "R" as the first letter. I thought wouldn't it be cool to get something like xxx-RXX as a plate number. Anyways, I ended up with xxx-SCL. Can't even think of a good acronym for that.

So today my wife get her replacement plates for our 1995 minivan. Here in WA state they now make us replace our perfectly good plates every 7 (?) years.

So what does she get??

x8x-RXV

Think they would mind if we switch?

Cool....I got mine few weeks ago in vancouver XXX-RXS, which was great. I wouldd certainly ask, to see of they do it, but you can get a custom plate that say RX-8 1, I know for a fact that one is still available...

go to a vehicle license dealer and have them switched. I have done it with motorcycles before. as long as neither one is a vanity plate it all works. Some vehicle license dealers are a lot more friendly than others so you may have to shop around.

Murphy's Law Blue.

Ever notice if someone has regular plates they wont post their plate number or pics of the plate, yet if its a vanity plate their spouting all over the place what it is. I find it humerous.
