Hopefully the roads will be clear of the powdery dirt that's still on the pavement. I'd rather not be doing this on some of the turns: http://upload.streetfire.net/video/s...cle_205688.htm

Other than that, I hope everyone has a fun & SAFE New Years!

Why not? We rescheduled our family celebrations, etc. to tomorrow. None of us could get together due to the snow. We're doing 3 birthdays and Christmas

I was thinking I might run up and see you guys off at Marymoor, but it'll depend on how late I stay up tonight. I also thought about meeting you guys for lunch at XXX in Issaquah, but I'm gonna be eating too much as it is tomorrow!! I AM, however, going to show up at the MazdaManiac event on the 17th and bring coffee/donuts. It's a great chance to meet people I only talk to online.

If I don't see you, Happy New Year, and have a great drive tomorrow. Hopefully there won't be too much sand on the roads because it's a cool drive.

Sadly I have to back out of this. With the crappy weather last week and the earlier part of this week, I have way too much to get ready for work this coming monday.

Sorry Kris, I will however try and make to the late January drive if you're still doing one.

Have fun guys!

How was the sand on the roads? And mounds of left over snow on the edges?

It was snowing when I left to go to my family party, which was in Duvall! I thought I'd see how far I could go. It was starting to stick going over the hill from Redmond to Duvall, so I went to the restaurant as fast as I could, dropped off gifts, got some for myself, and headed back home. I thought of you guys as I crossed Snoqualmie Valley Rd . I'm SO glad I left then! My neighborhood already has 1/2 inch and I was sliding around corners. Made it to my driveway though, so yay!

Not too bad. A few sandy places and a little left over snow. The weather was fine though. And I didn't order the XXX burger this time.

Here's the group photo from today. Sorry, I'm not much of a shutter bug, so this is all we have.

Man, sounds like it was fun. I had a hell of a Sunday... got diverted to Spokane on my flight home because of the snow. I'll try and show up for Saturday.

I'm on the fence again about snow tires and wheels, I think I'm going to do them instead of a CAI. This snow is such BS...

Yup, it was really more of a Sports Business Casual, but we had fun any how.
