Heh... I can make it, but there's a good chance I won't have my car so really, I can't make it
Also, why the downtown Dick's instead of the traditional U District Dick's?

Sounds like all you have to do is show them it squeeks and also report the gear shifts are more difficult than they used to be. I feel like that design needs revision.
Is anyone going to show up at this meet? It seems like it might turn into a zoo. Ceejay on mazdasnw said this meet got broken up by cops 2 out of the other 3 times this has been put on.

Mike, from the sounds of it. The problem starts when you start hearing the pedal squeak a little bit. (which happened to me) Then the sound will go away, but that's the next stage, the bracket then breaks and it becomes impossible to shift the car standing still. You have to have the car in motion to shift into gears. At that point you're basically screwed.
It's a known warranty by mazda, they just don't believe you (because it's so new) I'll have to go call MNAH and have them call University Mazda...I'm not paying 400 bucks for their shitty design on a clutch bracket.
When I get it on warranty, I'll let you know, then you can go in there also.

How low did your compression have to get in order for Mazda to give you a new engine core? Also, how can cops break up a car meet? Is it because skylines can't be registered?

They show up and tell you to go home for disturbing the peace. Usually it'll be something like Dick's asks them to leave first I'm sure. We got thrown out of Dick's once for using up too much of their parking lot.
