Seattle -> Dyno day

This is for those who are planning on heading down as a big pack to the dyno day. Just little information when we are meeting, leaving and information.

Meeting Location
Tacoma Mall Krispy Kremes parking lot

Time
Meeting 6:00am and Departing 6:30am. Make sure your there on time and got yourself a full tank of gas. Check your oil too.

What I should bring
2-Way radio if you have. If anyone has spares bring them incase someone forgets one. This way we can prevent cell phone tag if someone has a problem or girlfriend/wife needs to pee cause of someones rough suspension.

Make sure to bring some snacks or two and lots of water. Dont need someone dehydrating themselves.

Dont's
Do not speed or try to drift off. I think the group going down is already the 'core' Seattle group so we all know. But anyone who is new dont be a jerk off. I dont feel like getting a speeding ticket or brow beat cause you had to show off to the 'dime' in your passenger seat. Dont be a tool!

Do's
Have fun and lets rep the 8s in Portland

If I forgot anything than add it up but I think I got it covered. Dont be late! Dont stay up getting smashed till 2am and try to make it there. Rather not be rushed to make it to the dyno day in time. This way we can take it easy all the way down.

I've got an 8500XI, it's pretty good but personally, I'd get a 9500XI over a V1 because of the extra range and GPS based filtering.

Honestly, it was tolerable until you told me you got legitimate X-Bands, there's a reason I keep saying I want to go to the 9500 but haven't. Now that I have to run with X-Band on though it's ridiculous. I was driving through downtown Seattle the other day and it went off every other corner, it was completely unuseable in situations like that. Meanwhile a 9500xi would've had half of them in its library to begin with and would've remembered the rest when I hit the button to make them go away so I'd never hear them again.

do you have an easily accessible mute button? when i know it's erroneous i just hit that automatically and it doesn't bother me at all. and x bands are more prevalent in eastern WA so maybe you can just turn it on for road trips?

Sometime after you told me about yours I'm pretty sure I got one in Bellevue too. Mine's still plugged in to the cigarette lighter so there's one right by my right hand most of the time, just in certain area there's too many new signals, so I have to hit it every few seconds.
