Trying to dump some RX-8 tires.

• 245/35/18 Kumho Ecsta V710 - ~160 Runs?
• 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE040 - 1200 Miles
• 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE040 - 15000 Miles

Wow, 160 runs? You must be really smooth on the tires! Heard 120 at the upper end, but never 160. Even if the tread is still there, aren't they heat cycled out already?

 

These are all sold, BTW.

Anyway, it depends on the car. The RX-8 has good camber curves and if you don't slide a lot it's real easy on tires. Nonetheless, I'm sure they're fairly heat cycled out, but they're still good for practice tires. If I had a spare set of rims I'd keep them mounted and keep using them on practice days, but I'm low on rims at the moment, with more tires on the way...
