Well, I finally got my seat!!!

I bought an OMP WRC from 425Motorsports and I love it. The sales staff is really great and they have a lot of products in the show room to try on. I bought the floor mount, side brackets, and slider from them too and had Cantrell Motorsports install them (they had done some previous work on my car, so I took it to them.) 425 will mount the seat too if you'd like.

Turned out the mounting bracket from 425 was too tall and my head with helmet pushed against the roof, sliders are definately out, but would be nice. Cantrell offered to cut the car's mounting brackets off of my floor and make the floor flat. They said they do this work all of the time, but I didn't want to go that route. I asked if they could make a mounting bracket with more rake so it would be lower in the back and they did.

If anyone would like to make their floor flat I would recommend Cantrell to do the work. Also if you would like a floor mount for a seat, call and ask for a quote.

It's amazing how much more I can feel what the car is doing and it's so nice having the seat support me and not having to brace myself going around a corner. It is a rougher ride though, I didn't expect that.

Before I go back to BSCC I planned on dropping the seat to the floor. Note theres like a 3-4 inch drop to flat flooring the seat.

Yeah I saw that. That would put me way too low, but then I could use sliders.
