that sounds better. i'd head further abroad occasionally.

on another note, i got a written warning today for no front plate. the cop was in front of me driving down in renton and he was slowing down so i slowed down. then he changed lanes and i refused to pass him so i slowed down more until he turned right, i passed, and he flipped around and got me. all for a missing front plate....

he did say the front windshield location is ok though. i dont feel like getting decapitated so i'll opt for the $125 ticket next time. hehe.

Why didnt you pass the cop? I pass cops all the time, within reason of speed. He knew you were guilty if your doing what you did. I just say **** it and go about my business.

Me and Sean got on the freeway and I was WOT 4th gear redlining and he was flashing his brights at me. Looked in the carpool lane was a stater giving me a eye. Shut it down and he kept on going.

Maybe that cop has a thing for guys in corduroys.

he was messing with me and i was almost to my office. he pulled me over across the street from where i work and it turns out i know the guy from when some kids broke into my building and stole laptops. he was just bein a dick cause there's nothing else to do down there. he claimed that he needs the front plate to make sure my car's not stolen. i should just tell him to remember me and my car and quit harassing.

Sorry to hear that.

I've had no front plate since I got my 8 back in 2006. Took it off the second I got the car from the dealer. Since then I've had State Troopers and local cops stop in front of me, to the side, or behind me in stop lights or stop signs - and not one of them have given me any trouble as far as the front plate issue. Even with my tint which is past the legal limit, I have not been pulled over for. Well, I got pulled over once on my 8 for speeding when I was driving my kid to school. And the State Trooper only cited me for speeding. Didn't even notice my front plate or tint. Guess I've been lucky so far.

Though I'm pretty sure my luck may run out soon.

I should be able to make it one of these days. I still have to install a few stuff I ordered from Fluid Motorsports. Got myself a new set of igntion coils since I 'm about to hit the 50k mile mark (already had a new set of plugs installed back in Jan. at the dealer). A set of Moroso plug wires are also going in. A Pro-Sport oil catch can and Buddy Club condenser will also be installed.

An Exotic Speed mid-pipe with high flow cat will be the next thing I'm ordering from Fluid Motorsports.

Pine Lake Ale House in Sammamish.

It's equally inconvenient for everyone but me.

Thats even worse than South Center for northenders. Kirkland or some where around the UW.

We could meet up at Sand Point for pictures and circle jerk session. Than head into U Village for some food. Thats a equal distance for everyones I believe.

Except for me, who could walk

I'd be up for Bellevue as well but Sand Point could be fun. There's also a point up by the VA hospital with a view of down town and the stadiums that could be sweet to have a lineup. Ha, I just looked it up and it's called Dr. Rizal park.

Oh, I never seem to get internet sarcasm.

i like the idea of switching up and getting some sweet photos at our meets. that's a pretty good idea. plus, i don't know any of these places (just recently went to alki for the first time when i went down with rawr) so it's good to find new areas.

We should meet everyother saturday and decide on the meeting spot by the saturday we are not meeting. This gives people time to plan to attend, a change in location and then we wont get sick of one another

My vote is for Starbucks in West Seattle 2622 California Ave SW Seattle, WA 98116.

I looked on Live Maps and it looks like there is a parking lot there.

Then if its nice out we can swing down to the beach to take some pics if we want.
