A Rolling Salute - Sunday May 25th
The May Sunday Drive is a flag waving affair as we give A Rolling Salute to those who've put their lives on the line to defend our way of life. We're staying with the south-end but staying in-land.
We're meeting at Millersylvania State Park on May 25th at 9am, and hitting the road at 10 as usual. We'll lunch in Bucoda and Finish up at Tolmie State park. And this time around, the only un-paved section is a parking lot.

I'll check the Memorial day Calendar. Jen is headed to LA so I should have some time available. No pants weekend Woohoo!!
I'll hit up Robert and see if they want to come out as well. We were talking about it last night.

Again, keep your pants on, Shaun. I want to drool on Dan's car.
i'm in.. i think i registered an hour after we got back from the Carbon Cleaning run.. this time, i'll bring marinated drumettes as opposed to full sized drumsticks so we can cook em faster..
It's doing better. The swelling is a lot less and the pain is a lot less. Some of my nerve symptoms are improved quite a bit (the numbness and the pinching/crazy bone feeling), but not the most annoying one (the pins and needles tingling). I'm getting better movement back in my wrist joint with occupational therapy (it's about half of "normal" now). It's just still pathetically weak and uncoordinated for more than bare basic things, which is why all that driving might be too difficult. The therapist tried moving me up to strengthening exercises on Monday, but my hand wasn't ready yet, so perhaps next week. If I'm feeling up to it next weekend I may attempt the drive to meet up for lunch and skip the driving parts.
As much as I enjoy ripping down logging roads, not everyone is into that scene, so the next couple months will be gravel free (except perhaps parking lots).
This is family friendly, as usual. Keep your pants on.

Shaun... with a long enough shirt, I think you could pull off this look and not compromise your pantless weekend

Not sure what it will feel like in the twisties though

Just no gigling in the rougher bits.
Ooh! You know what, I may take you up on that offer! I don't *think* we've got anything else planned, but I'll definitely let you know soon! Thanks so much!!

Well I'm definitely glad to hear you're doing a little better at least! Though I can't imagine what it feels like to always have that pins and needles feeling all the time!
Did they ever say if that will go away eventually?
And I definitely hope you're doing well enough to make it this weekend (especially if I'm there)!

lol gee, thanks Kris.

Thanks for asking.
